World Class Academy continues to closely monitor the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. As students, families, teachers, classrooms, and communities around the world continue to be affected, we stand by our commitment to provide engaging learning opportunities while mitigating the risks that are inherent with global travel.

We are running programs in person while adhering to our COVID-19 protocols. Our protocols are designed to minimize the risk of exposure and transmission among our group and the communities we visit. We are accepting master applications for the 2021-2022 school year and encourage students to apply. Prospective students and their families are encouraged to reach out with questions about our COVID-19 protocols or other details about our programs.

B.A. in journalism with a concentration in photography and a minor in business administration – University of Denver

Lindsay began working for World Class Academy during the kite program’s pilot semester in Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic and Texas. She worked in the field as the Kiteboard Academy program director, literature teacher, media productions teacher and kiteboarding coach for seven semesters before moving into an administration position.

As a student-athlete at the University of Denver, she graduated with honors with a B.A. in journalism with a focus on photography and a minor in business administration. Lindsay was also a member of the NCAA  Division I ski team, a team that won two National Championships in the four years she participated. Lindsay appreciates the benefits that are gained from balancing athletics and academics, and she’s always looking for new and creative ways to help WCA student-athletes achieve their goals.
